As we were driving to
Universal Studios we watched the movie “21.” Now that we saw the city, it was really nice to see a scene
and be able to say that we have been at exactly the same spot. After the movie
finished, we realized we entered California. So some of us came up to the front
of the bus and played a Cali-Song. One of them was “Sweet Home California” from
Dirty Heads. Some sang along and the Golden State-Feeling started.

At the end of the day at Universal
Studios we went for dinner at Hard Rock Café. There was a big screen with loud music playing in a
courtyard outside of Hard Rock Café.
One random dude started dancing to the song called “Party Rock
Anthem.” Then my friends
pushed me to go dance with him.
I swagged it out. A big
audience formed around me. My
friends started cheering for me and taking pictures. That was the highlight of my day.

At Universal Studios, we went
in the haunted house which was really scary. There was a group of us and we were just screaming in there!
After that we talked to some English guys who guard a palace. We took a picture
with them and it was pretty funny.
We went on “The Mummy” ride.
They took a picture of us which turned out to be really funny because we
were just screaming. The Jurassic
Park ride was pretty cool as we got to see the dinosaurs and we got wet. The Universal Studios ride that we did
at the beginning was very interesting. We got to see the actual sets where they
filmed the movies. I was glad we
got to go to Universal Studios because I have been to Disney in Orlando but
never Universal Studios. This one was very nice.

It was June 18th
in the evening. I had a
question. I needed the answer from
my monitors. We were
on the bus so I proceeded to the front of the bus. I sat next to the monitors. One of them asked me if she was pronouncing my name
correctly. Then we got into a
conversation about my nicknames, which are: Bro, Bronis, Brownie, and the most
exciting one: Brontosourus. And
then I started talking about my full name and its origin. I explained to her all of my names but
there was only one that I couldn’t explain. This name is Miguel. After some connections I remembered that one of my
doctors was named Miguel. And he
was very close to my father. I
realized that for my entire life I have never wondered why one of my names was
Miguel until now on the Belo USA bus.
Then before I knew it I had told my life story and all I wanted to know
from the start was if the next hotel had a laundry facility.
