Welcome to Vegas!

On our way from Arizona to Nevada, we ended up on route 66, a route that goes across the country.  I always thought that route 66 is pretty cool and I was wondering if we would drive on it on this trip.  We stopped at a route 66 rest stop to take some pictures and buy souiveniers.  I bought a route 66 pin for my Rotary blazer and a postcard for my Dad for Father’s Day.

When we were on the bus from Arizona to Las Vegas, we watched a Beatles musical called “Across the Universe.”  The Beatles are my favorite band and I sang along to every song.  It was really cool when the whole bus sang along to the famous songs.  Watching the movie made the bus trip seem shorter.

When we arrived to the hotel in Las Vegas, all the girls started getting ready for our night out.  We were doing make up and hair, and helping each other get ready.  We went to the hotel lobby and everyone was looking at us thinking “Who are these ladies and gentleman? Are they movie stars?”  After taking pictures we went to the restaurant.  Our dresses exploded because the food was delicious.  When the limos came, we were so excited! There were 3 limos: 1 black, 1 white, and 1 red. They weren’t ordinary limos, they were hummer limos.  We were in nice dresses and beautiful suits; everybody was really dressed up.  We took a lot of pictures.  We were going to Fremont Street so Rock n Roll! There was loud music playing in the limo and we were dancing.  We rolled the windows down and waved at people going by.   We stopped by the big “Welcome to Vegas” sign which was pretty awesome because it was like in the movies.

When we were supposed to get ready we were 6 girls in my room, and I was a big chaos but in the end we all look really pretty and helped each other with our make up.

We were so exited when we got on the bus to go to the Casino where we had dinner at. We took a lot of photos and played loud music. The food at the hotel was really good because you could pick food from all over the world. Then we waited outside for the limos. Everybody was really exited. We got divided in 3 groups. Then when the limos arrived everybody took photos and we went inside. We played really loud music and everybody started dancing in their seats. We look outside the widows and saw people looking at us because we were in a Hummer limo. It was a great feeling. We stopped at the Bellagio and watch the famous water show and took more pictures. Then we went to the “Welcome to Vegas” sign and we took more photos. Also we watched a lightshow.

We all had a lot of fun that night!
